My Blog

I wanted to create a way that my business could also promote community. I want this blog to be a place where you can learn something new, meet someone new, and explore a new brand or business. I suppose this sense of community began when I worked as a barista in a small business coffee shop. I always loved hearing stories from the 'regulars' that sat at the bar. Come to think of it, that little coffee shop was SO much more than just a coffee shop. It was a place for the community to gather, showoff their artwork or skills, support other small businesses, and create lasting friendships. Humans are social creatures, whether you classify yourself as an introvert or extrovert. I'd say I'm a little bit of both. Although I'd rather spend my Friday nights at home under a cozy blanket, I have found that connecting with people and hearing their stories truly is what fulfills me. I feel a sense of belonging, my body becomes energized, and I leave feeling inspired. I have been so inspired by the individuals I've met that I truly hope I can also be an inspiration and/or a resource for anyone that I meet!
